On 10th September, Immigration SA, together with Adelaide City Council, hosted an exclusive business migrant networking event in Adelaide Town Hall.
The evening provided an opportunity for business migrants in South Australia to network with representatives from Immigration SA , Adelaide City Council, The Chinese Chamber of Commerce (SA Chapter) South Australian Tourism Commision, PIRSA and the China team led by Mr Jing Li from Department of State Development.
During this event, business migrants and investors created connections with other local business migrants, and gained valuable contacts for potential business expansion in a relxed, friendly evironment.
Guest speakers included the Lord Mayor of Adelaide, Director – China Team, Department of State Development and the Manager, Business Migration ,Immigration SA. Speakers highlighted the importance of business migrants to South Australia, and the valuable contribution they make to this state as well as highlighting opportunitites offered by State Government such as case management.
This was the first of a series of events hosted by immigration SA in some time, delivered in both English and Chinese. Professional interpreters and bi-lingual staff were on site to help facilitate the discussion.
Business migrants are encouraged to keep in touch with Immigration SA to hear about the next event due around Chinese New Year.
The South Australian Premier announced a set of 10 economic priorities for our State under the theme: South Australia. The Place Where People and Business Thrive.
This event is an initiative from Immigration SA, following the state economic priorities, promoting South Australia’s international connections and engagement.
